Fellowship Program

The Mission of the Stanford/VA Alzheimer's Research Center is to provide leadership in the field of research and treatment of Alzheimer's disease by integrating research and clinical practice. Funded by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, California Department of Health Services, and other sources, we offer information, referral services and comprehensive diagnostic assessments of individuals with memory problems. In addition to providing caregiver support, community education, and professional training, the center plays an important role in developing a central pool of information on Alzheimer's disease in California. We also offer an introduction to psychological law, advocacy issues, and multi-disciplinary team meetings. We are a collaborative center, liked with nine other centers in Northern and Southern California. Our multidisciplinary staff includes clinicians and researchers from the Stanford University Department of Psychiatry and from the VA Palo Alto Health Care System

In conjunction with The Stanford Aging Clinical Research Center, we offer a newsletter that showcases various projects and includes informative articles on dementia.
